Stealth radar detector installation

I'm wanting to purchase a TPX waterproof radar detector and leave it mounted to my bike, however I'm concerned about someone stealing it while the bike is parked somewhere. Has anyone mounted one where it can't be seen to the casual observer but still function 100%?

The radar comes with both a external visual alert module as well as a Bluetooth speaker so I don't need to actually see it while riding, I was thinking of mounted it underneath the front fairing above the wheel

Had one mounted on Ram handlebar mount, no problem! Unplug power plug and slide TPX off locking mechanism. If your going to mount the TPX unit under fairing above fender take into consideration suspension travel/ compression.
