Heated grips - that aren't thicker than standard grips?
02/16/14 3:17 AM

I'm planning to install heated grips on my 2007 -14. Now, my problem is that I don't like big grips. I've found a pair of heated grips in my local shop, but they are quite big (bigger diameter than the standard grips).

Is there any heated grips that are the same size (outer diameter) as the standard grips?

Oxford makes a set for sport bikes. I think cblast has them. They look nice and the controller isn't really bulky. I looked into them a while ago, I think they're around $70.00.

Or just get the heating elements that stick to the bars under any grips I've used them before work well.

The heating elements sound like a good idea, I really like my factory grips.

If you use the sticky element that goes under your grips make sure to insulate it from the handle bar. Heat shrink of something of that nature. The bar will soak up all the heat.
