PREACH IT blue07. So far I think almost exactly like you with this topic. I think religion itself should be classified as a "four-letter word". Seems like most extremist acts stem from some sort of religious bias, ideology, thought, idea, principle, etc. I think if everyone could agree on what I would consider the "common sense protocol" of not killing your fellow man (unless they really deserve it, rape, murder, saddam hussein, bin laden, etc), don't take what doesn't belong to you, don't do something to someone without their permission, etc etc, we'd all be good. Stop telling us you're basing your decisions/actions on what some higher authority told you to do cuz I'm not buying it shithead... If you want to kill yourself in the name of Allah, do it in some isolated area where you hurt no one but yourself. Sick and tired of these rag-head fucks killing innocent people. I've told my wife several times I wish I was back in the military just so I could personally take it to 'em. Stupid motherfuckers. This understanding that murder and hate and injustice are "wrong " is actually based in absolute truths -a moral code of rights and wrongs- known by all cultures across the globe..

Also, even though he does not like to do it, Hubster along with the rest of these listed has to use language and normal syntax and logic to converse..(a universal "truth") if you want to exist in reality.

SOOOO given there are absolutes - governing universal truths- in other areas, the logic of Muslims and other religious folk seeking to find or hold to universal standards regarding spiritual matters is reasonable and logical. Their breaking uiniversally known moral truths is not, it is wrong - evil- and all men can condemn them religious or not as they clearly do. (by this test we can actually tell which religions are false- ie if they go against known truths!)

The truly dangerous people on planet earth are not the ones who believe in some God or religious truth adamently, but rather the ones who believe only in themselves and the law of the jungle (-survival of the fittest)
Such people have no borders at all to right and wrong but their own self interest and history shows these have done the most damage.
The extremist Muslims and all the wack jobs who called themselves Christain or whatever, who killed for their gods, were and are amatuers compared to the likes of a godless Stalin or Mao. They knew how to kill effectively and in the millions.
The scary part is the ranks of those who are a "law unto themselves" are growing "Right here in River City!!"
