roaring toyz mirrors and cf upper install
10/27/11 2:28 PM

this pics r pretty self explanatory, the mirrors come with a base that u have to replace for it to fit the zx14, and for the upper fairing i would install the lower tray first then the headligh asambly and last the mirros, they do take some work to fit propertly but its worth it.

Nice... Nice toyz also - specially the Viper! Do you still ride the pocket rocket? Just sold one on Craig's list, had plenty of fun on it - although a bit small for me....LOL.

The little 110cc 4 stroke that I just got rid of would do about 45mph with me on it! FUN...

Wow - great JOB jpzx14! CF is a nice look! Where did you get the LEDs for the driving lights? Been trying to find some brighter ones for myself... Thanks.

hey big i got the idea fro redtrace on the h.i.d. tread.

More info from an earlier post:

RE: ZX14 Headlight Bulb Type

Absolutely, even though I have HID low beams, the high beams are PIAA H9 Xtreme White

I am running the same set up on mine. The HID's are just what this bike needed.
I also changed out the marker bulbs to 1 watt led's from
this place: http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-bin/store/commerce.cgi?product=CAR

It is part number WLED-NWLX and the cost is 9.95 each.
I got them in natural white which has a 6000k color temp that matches my HID's.
These things are way bright!

they are great, but be carefull when installing as i burned like 5 fuses, cuz if u push them too hard they can make a shortcut, and make sure u live the plastic that they come in, on or it will also burn the fuse, ull see when u get them, i put some electricall tape to hold it in place just in case.

rook yea it used to be my bb while i didnt have the 14 but now its just sitting there, plus i dont wanna use the miles as those kind cars get more value as the years come and the miles r low, plus livin in chicago i can only use it for like 6 months and i also have to work...

soo many toys and too little time to play...
i mostly drive the rover or the lancer when i need to, but i dont drive much as my job is a block from my house...

Recently heard that situation with insurance and actual value. Amazing a 98 Supra goes for what you bought it for brand new but insurance doesn't agree with that. You wreck, you get like $3000 for a $40,000 car. Yeah, I can believe the Vipers are actually going up. I don't care, I d have to drive that car.

yes i know about the insurance, that is why i have the viper and zx as show cars, that way if anything happens to them even a scrash they will pay for it, and they would pay wut the actual value is at the time, they will even pay for aftermarket parts, i do pay a little more but its worth it.
