i hav checked around a little bit.i understand the 2008-09 fuel pump has a smaller profile then the 2007.i am lowering my 2007 bike 1 1/2 "
& got a new extended swingarm for it. i do not want the pump to hit the arm.if it does , i hav 2 choices .send the arm back & get it notched OR if it fits install a new 2008-09 fuel pump.is this an easy swap of fuel pumps ?

This is what the bottom of the 08 fuel pump mount looks like. It mounts flush, other than your inlet and outlet hoses/tubes, one of which I had already cut off for this pic:
