I fitted one of these last year and they look good, fit well and seem well made. Wanted a matt black one (which they don't do) so chose the carbon effect version as that was the nearest. I blanked off the grills from behind as all they seem to do is let spray and road crap through. What are they for anyway?

To be honest I would guess for looks only pegscraper it might not be to bad for me here in Ozz as for the weather we mostly ride in Bro, but I can see your point of view though being where I was Born ( Leeds UK )

@bean07 how you think, would it fit to 55 tire? I'm considering the same purchase, but the doubt is - is there enough plenty of clearance between the surface of the tire and the hugger... ??
anyone can advice something?

mine installed too.. and can confirm - there is no any problem with fitting 55 tire (additionaly moved forward cause of higher rear sprocket) and powerbronze hugger ..
looks awesome :)
