So I find it annoying to always lift up the seat for the helmet lock. Does anyone know a good helmet lock that can be attached to the 2012 zx14r like the older models?

There is one out there that mounts to your license plate assembly. I did a quick search but couldnt find it. I think I came across it on another forum kawasakiworld.com if I remember right.

Kuryakyn also makes bar ends that have locks in them, I dont know if they ported them over to sport bike sized bars yet or not.

I almost wish I could have gotten a ZZR1400 vs a ZX14r...

I've seen the lock for the license plate but meant for the concourse.

I'm not too fond of the bar end lock either as it wouldn't look so good and if the bike drops on the handle it'll probably break. Lol.

Maybe i'm just paranoid, but I never feel comfortable leaving my helmet locked to my bike, always worried that some1 will just cut the D-ring off and steal it or mess with the helmet (ie, put crap in it, literally or figuratively)

My Shoei is expensive as well but I've gotten used to leaving it, lots of bikers in FL so fortunately nobody seems to mess with anyone's helmets. I'm sure it happens but not something I really hear a lot of. So I leave mine locked to my bike.

As an aside I also have those big rings on my tank bag so I lock it to the bike on the other side and then put a tiny padlock on the zipper. It's not super secure of course if someone wants it bad enough they will just take it but it's not for them its to keep the honest ones "honest" lol.
