I will toast your ass and send a postcard back from the future on the street with a SWB machine because I train in a world where hundredths of a second are recorded and printed. I know it's late in the season and the snow is already down in places, but keep these thoughts in your mind all winter. Let them fester and instigate a rage that can only be quenched by ripping WOT in first gear and harnessing that power with your clutch hand. This thread shall fade..... But my challenge will not.... I'm headin to draggin rights in Fayetteville NC this Saturday. It will be my first Drag Day. I've beern to a few track days and now want to try my hand at stomping my Cager friends with the 14R! I'll let ya know how it goes.

I do that for consistency. I can make three passes in a row and put all three within .03 of one another.

Ehh I may bring it this weekend, but it will remain swb, and ride height. I'm keeping it as "street"as possible. I have tons of drag racing experience in my mustang dating back to 1996, it's just that im used to side stepping the clutch at 6k rpm on the nitrous, and only worrying about the tires dangling a foot or so.

I've got 20,000 miles on my clutch plus half a summer of track time. Granted I don't launch nearly as violently as Mav but it's still "usable" considering. I say usable cause there is no longer any in between with my clutch, it's basically all or none. Lol. Still perfectly usable on the street none the less.

Nasty, I'd venture to say you may wanna take peek behind that clutch cover then.

I don't need to pull my clutch to know my fibers are wore down to almost nothing! Lol. I'm going to rebuild the whole clutch and do brocks kit sometime this winter.

It's probably going to be warped driven plates causing that jerky engagement.
