Which Garmin
08/22/12 8:40 PM

I'm going to be touring the US of A this fall and I'm looking for a good GPS. I have narrowed it to the Garmin brand and would like to get something with the latest tech but without Sat radio. I don't wanna add another monthly bill even if it is something small. What are my choices?
Also, I have a rotary steering damper so my mounting options are limited. What mount should I get.
Last I plan on riding about 10 hrs a day (2 week trip) and sleep in a comfy hotel at night. Do I need to have an outlet on my bike?

I have a street pilot 2610,a zumo 550 and a zumo 350,the 2610 was great but no extra features, the 550 went thru a digitizer with in two years, got a new digitizer from e-bay,$20 and fixed it my self,it went again this summer ordered another digitizer this time $15.Shortly after I found out if you upgrade the software to version 5 it cures the problem. My sons got me the 350LM for my birthday works great in the car,but haven't wired up the bike yet.Two complaints so far ,no blu tooth for phone and the 12 to 5 volt stepdown is near the power supply so its not easy to swap the 550 and 350 between the 07 and 2012

2012 14R,full hindle Evolution ,vortex rear sets,BST's with ceramic bearings,HID's,hyper pro damper and custom map 205.3 hp/120.2 torque
