Just joined the club ....
05/17/09 8:28 PM

Hi all,

yesterday I got a new ZX14 2008, I am already thinking about a sporty trip this coming summer.

I saw some pics in this forum showing the bike with side hard luggages (I believe they are GIVI),
does anyone know where to buy them ?

Thanks,
Marco.

Break in report: just 211 miles so far.

I've seen some good deals, for the Givi's, on ebay recently.

Ouch!

I checked the price for GIVI luggage, pretty expensive.

I believe I'll use my old soft bags for my first trips then I'll see.
Also I need to buy a new tank bag.

Marco.

Brake in report (320 miles)
Fork and shock absorber stiffer than on my previous bike (2002 FZ1).
Brakes seem to be just .... great!
Engine: smooth, very quick in revving up (still up to 4000 rpm!)
Still not got used to feel between mu knees the tank wider than on my previous bike.

Marco.
