Every time I start my bike, some water comes out of the bottom, it was about the size of a pie tin yesterday, and today it was a couple drops, its not coolant or oil, I have never had a bike do that much, is this normal on the 14 ?

Sounds like exhaust condensation.....see if there's a hole in the pipe or a place where it could collect after starting(a purposely placed hole that is)...give that a shot.My bikes ALL had dripping water at startup....maybe check where it's dripping from...a seam in the slip-on?At the collector or something like that?Sounds very okay to me.I used to wonder what the heck it was dripping for as well...till I saw the factory 'drip hole' on the mdipipe....

Depending on the ambient temps and such...you may get more or less water around there.Including engine temps.If she's cold....you'll most likely get more water.

Sounds like good old unleaded and a catalytic converter to me.

I'll try and see where it coming from next time I start it, it going to rain, so I dont think I will be riding today ? but really I didnt know there was a drip hole on the mid-pipe, I need to get a lift to see things better HA HA good excuse to buy one ! wifes not going to like it, but oh well ....

I forgot there is still a CAT in the front of the header pipes according to the service manual ...

Actually, both my 2008 ZX14 and my 2012 Concours 14 do this when they've sat after being heated up on a ride, and the air has a lot of moisture in it. So condensation forms inside the cats and pipes as they cool down.

First time it happened, I thought the water would never stop coming out.

I quess I'm not used to having bikes with cats, it seemed like a lot yesterday, but I didnt think there was anything wrong, as it runs fine, no smoke or oil or coolant coming out etc ..

Ya...she's normal.(IMO)Privateer's right.

looks like its coming from where the Y in the header pipe is, or the right slip on tube ? hard to tell since water is clear in color going to readjust the right slip on for the heck of it anyway
