Kriega US 20 or 30
01/30/17 4:12 AM

Hi everyone. I am thinking of picking some soft luggage up for the 14. Have read really good things about the Kriega Drypacks. I am wondering if any of you have experience with these and if so if you like the 20, 30 or maybe something else I haven't look at yet. I have considered hardbags but I like the ability to take the luggage completely off for most riding and load it on when taking longer trips. Hope you guys can provide some insight. Thanks.

I have the Kriega 30, really like it with my 12 zx14r. Works great, bike looks stock when I'm not using the kriega.

Cool thanks 74. Do you use the bag with the seat cover on or off? Easy to install on the subframe?

Seat cover off. Just connect it to frame under the seat. I have used the 30L and 20L together without any issues.

have been using a Givi Rullo 30-liter waterproof bag, till i read this review...
now got the Kriega US30, and it seems indeed to be an improvement

packing the Givi bag can be a bit tricky, because of its sausage shape
not getting it right will make the bag assymetrical, and it won't sit properly on the bike

the Kriega bag comes with a preset squarish shape, which makes packing/unpacking easier
it also has a good feel once on the bike, less likely to slant on one side after a bumpy ride

the user's manual shows the Kriega fixed in-line on the seat, using fasteners looped around the subframe
have tried an alternative way across the seat, using the bike's stock luggage anchor points, works well too
