My 14 has always done it since day one, I can ride off a 2 inch curb and it goes "clack". I never worried about it and I noticed the 6R doing it yesterday over a railroad track, same sound as the 14. I remember a thread on this a long time ago, maybe on the old forum. I can't believe it is bottoming on such a small bump, I mean this bike is designed to ride two up right? Topping out maybe? Hubmeister, oh great and vaunted purveyor of all suspension knowledge, what sayest thou?

I did a google search on the subject, loose steering head bearings, caliper float and forks topping out were the most common responses. 14 I could understand but it makes no sense my brand new 6r is having issues already with only a thousand miles on it.

its probably the side stand...mine does it over potholes or railroad tracks...same with other bikes i've had,side or centerstand..
