IF this ol' car sells that i've had sitting on the side of my house for over a year.. I just might have some of them lightweight rollers soon

On a very unfortunate note.. They won't be the ones i WANT.... But they'll work just as well

My tire changes are done at the local Ducati dealership and they guarantee
their work. My 14 and my gf's R1 both have BSTs and the rims are perfect after
the initial install- that's not a concern at all.

Local bike shop owner has no problems. Quite a few BST's roll through his shop.

But, mine are gonna be aluminum (unfortunately)

And, that is IF this guy comes through on the car.....

If they sell them- they have no problem mounting them.
There are guys on Bikeland who mount tires on their BSTs themselves with zero issues.
I've heard all the lame rumours on this topic- I guess it's just too much of a good thing
for some folks...

Someone recently posted about getting a new set of Carrozzerias for $1,300 on zx14.com...
the thread was about Galespeed wheels though if I remember right.

Slow since you drag race that rocket of yours you just may be better off without the carbon wheels. We have had quite a bit of trouble with the wheel slipping on the tire with the cf's. The harder the bike leaves the worse it gets with a full weight 14. I know teams are using them in big turbo pro street bikes with good results but i think the multi stage clutch helps i guess. I just haven't found a way to stop it. Great looking bike by the way, nice attention to detail ...............Bill

Hmm never heard of slippage problems on the CF wheels..

I mean my bike will be in the 450-460lb range so its not "full weight"... but its no pro street bike either. And you're right, the multistage would definitely affect the shock on the tire..

Wow slow'' that's light for a 14 thats still mostly streetable. Over on BL there is a guy name Shane that has a 50 page post on the 14 forum about mods he has done from start to finish. On or about the 44-45th page in' he has pictures of how bad his tire is slipping on the marv, CF wheels. Check it out'' he is big into lsr and drag racing.............Bill
