It's just getting cold now, or so they say. For having such a crummy summer up here it hasn't wanted to let go. But then again if you've ever been to Michigan you can appreciate the fact that you never know whats' gonna happen. We've had sub freezing one day and 80's the next. Especially here on the west coast. Which would explain my mood swings if anyone were curious. lol All of a sudden it will snow real hard and that'll be it, winter from then on. The sky is always grey here for months at a time which is maybe the hardest thing to deal with in the winter.
I try to spend as much time as I can in the gym and airbrushing when I can in my shop to pass the time. I've got a two story barn and a 30 x 40' pole barn but not enough space to work on any vehicles comfortably unfortunately but maybe I'll get that pole barn concreted someday. I sure have plenty to do with the new motor I need to build for my VW, the complete resto I have planned for my 93 Silverado, the work to do on that motorhome('Chitty') we bought, and then there's always the 83 GS750ES I have to finish restoring.
I tell ya I could make a full time job out of my hobbies. If only I could find someone who'd pay me!
I can't imagine not having the down time in the winter to lay something up and work on it for awhile.

I bought a brand new 83 GS1100E leftover in 86.It was dark metalflake blue.Had chrome black pipes and black engine.Was a true wheelstander.Would lay 150 of rubber in first.But had no breaks and a poor handler.Had a boxed alluminum swingarm.Then I had a 82 GS1100E and a 81 GS 1100E.I am backwards,start out newer then go old.Inbetween them I had a 83 GPz1100.I like big bores.
