Anyone using a crash cage on their 2012 or newer? I had my bike fall over at work and it has done over $2500 in damage. I did not have frame sliders because of the stories of damaged frames. I am now looking for protection. I would prefer a race cage but some sliders that will prevent this from being an huge expense again would be great. Suggestions? BTW being down during prime riding season sucks!!!

Some junk & stuff on my bike and a hole in my head for riding it!

Yeah!! Shock me, but if you go to Bikebandit and start piecing a fairing kit together you will see the cost of OEM plastics for the left side adds up quick!! DON'T TIP HER OVER!!!! Or ..... HAVE GREAT INSURANCE!!

Took my frame sliders off for the same reason ie break engine mounts. Eeeeek 2500. If this happens I am purchasing OEM white gold tank and plastics and rocking a new look. My bike is sp ed green 2012.

I have plenty of insurance that I pay for. For me, sliders just don't make sense. The most a dump is going to cost me is $250.
