Nice pics! Some beautiful country there in NM - I used to do a team run from Temple, TX all the way to Alberquerque and back every week back in the late 90's. A long turn, but one of my favorite ones.

Nice family and bike Nic!Looks like some fine riding there in New Mexico. In August I bought an '06 Zx14 and rode it back from Atlanta to San Diego and detoured a little in New Mexico to see something besides the super slab. Me and my buddy spent the night in Soccorro,NM and rode through the White Mountains to Globe,AZ. That is one awesome ride!

Thanks! Still saving up for the PCV, after that and a tune I'll be done with the bike (haha, hopefully!). NM is a nice state to ride, desert/mountains/plains give enough variation within a day's ride to keep one entertained sufficiently. Can't wait until my new seat gets in, I'll post up some pics (probably just duplicates of yours, Rook) and have to take another scenic ride (maybe Roswell or Santa Fe).

That is nice.I like black alot.I don't like the 2013 even though it has green fins.I think their trying to recreate the 09 Monster and they failed in MHO.I would like to get a 2012 leftover black like yours.One question.How loud is your Yoush pipe?I'm tired of my Alienhead.It's so loud I can't stand it and the stock pipes are too quite and too ugly.

The Yoshi is loud, but not annoyingly loud. Once it gets above 130mph it really screams, but normal highway riding (up to 100mph) I can hear my music on the 3 different types of earbuds I've used pretty well (and my Bell RS1 isn't the quietest helmet either). With the insert/silencer that comes with the pipe it's fairly mild-mannered. Best earbuds, btw, Altec Lansing Bliss Platinum...$12 on Amazon, made for chicks but fit totally inside your ear. Comfortable as hell to ride with for several hours straight and have a non-tangle cord (just bought my second set in 3 years). Don't rape your ears when the helmet comes off either.

Nice pics Nick. I'm In Kerrville on a 2 day trip myself for the usual menage a trois (3 sisters). Earbuds? It depends of what you listen to and the shape of your ears. IMO you can beat the Ultimate ears: model 350. $48 at best buy, They don't come with foam tips but if you can find some get them... they expand in your ears for a perfect fit and good seal. I can hear the vacuum, the dog or the wife lol I can still hear the Brock's but it's toned down big time!
