wax?
01/10/17 10:14 AM

Hi all, just got my bike washed for the winter and I'd like to throw a coat of wax on it - haven't yet for the zx though and was wondering if this was kosher. I've got the '15 flat black with green fins; I used turtle wax on my s1000rr and it turned out wonderfully, can I do the same for the Kawi? Thanks

Doubt there would be any problem. I've used Turtle Wax ICE paste polish on mine a bunch of times. Probably less durable than wax but adds a nano of shine with it's nanochem tech. Tell ya the truth, it doesn't look all that much better than a good wash and dry but I use it once or twice a year. Pink and black can of Bike Spirits in between. Also a yearly thorough rub down with 3M scratch and swirl remover or ICE liquid Claybar if you can find that. You can use that by hand 20 times or more before you have to get concerned about going through the clear coat.

There are a number of products in this line and I think they have updated their packaging from what you see here. The paste polish is in the round tub. Also comes with a sponge applicator
