I weigh 360 pounds, when I ride my license plate hits my back tire on big bumps. will stiffening up my suspension stop the rear end of the bike from dropping so low when I hit bumps? if so how do I adjust my suspension?

I've read the stock suspension was set up for 150 lb. Japanese test riders. I think it may be rated for a bit more than that, but 360 is likely beyond what it was designed to carry. As said previously, reworked suspension with upgraded springs and damping to match is the best remedy.

I bought a shock with a Race Tech heavy spring on it since I ride 2-up all the time with my primary troublemaker. I think the spring is around $100 but it really helped carry both our weights. The stock one was low and droopy with her fat ass...er I mean with her on the back. ( I think I'm in trouble....)

Any links or websites will be gratefully appreciated. I'm 6'7", 360, love the bike, but ever since I added the bolt on extensions, it has put my license plate right over my tire. The suspension is a must now. Thanks guys

By extending the whelbase, you've also added leverage onto the rear shock. Make sure you note that to anyone you go to for suspension upgrades.
