Well over here in my area there are lots of ass who street race an there are quite a few places to go and find a race or look to see a race. People still race for pink slips and money. Why don't they just go to the track and do it just boggles me. I know that down in New Jersey they have a few bike night but not really shore about when they are but I catch wind of a race here and there but it's not really my cup of tea anymore.

But if you must do it be safe!!!

This occurred about 30 years ago,I had a 73 Z1,bored,cammed,ported,racing carbs built for me by Lang Hindle. This was a track bike, but in the right hands[not me]would do 10.3 in the 1/4.We were at a bar in north Toronto, when I came out the police had a spot check set up.Several friends on bikes were pulled over.I decided to try and get them out of trouble, after warming up the bike I revved her to about 6 grand several times[open header no baffle]This definitely attracted the attention of the police.A friend decided he wanted to be on the back, now I was not impaired and I questioned his wisdom. He did not expect the following events. We slowly proceeded on to Yonge street when the first officer signalled with his flashlite for me to pull over I yelled at my friend to hold on and wheel standed thru the spot check. As per my passenger the cop thew his flashlite at me.I then proceeded down Yonge at 100 mph.My friend screaming they are right behind me.How could that be possible, forgot about the police station.Exiting Yonge on to a side street with some nice esses ,I went for it,so this is where the police station is.This street was freshly paved about a mile and a 1/4 long with one stop sign in the middle. We hit the middle a t 125 mph and caught a lot of air.He lived at the end of the street. At his house I was about to hide the bike under the porch,He sounding funny told me to hide it in his garage.Hid the bike ran into the house opened a couple of beers peeking out the window shaking ,watching police cars every where.I phoned the wife and told her I was spending the night at Farrels'. His funny voice was from impacting his nuts when we landed.Any bikes that went by were being stopped and questioned, one being a Honda 90

There isn't anyone around that'll even play with me, its more of a excitement factor of the bike, there is this cobalt ss thats supposedly the fastest thing in town, well I was parked and he pulled up, he wanted NOTHING to do with the R but he offered a race when he gets his head and cam ls1 rx7 done, even then Im claiming the crown as fastest in town. I'm looking at the akrapovic exhaust, that'll be a bit though.

Why an akrapovic? Brock's CT series for the ZX14R must make more horsepower?

I haven't really seen brocks pipes. I want to keep the true duals also.

There is a lot of street racing and car cuttin' in St. Louis but I'm not interested at all. Give me some clean, isloated backroads with plenty of curves and I'm a happy man. In 3 years, nine riders have crashed riding with my crew so the word is out - "Don't mess with those curve killin' fools. Those maphuckas are crazy." Glad no one has been seriously injured because that is nine too many. We don't invite guys to ride with us anymore. Most riders have huge egos and huge egos will get you killed. That's a burden I don't want to deal with.

I haven't really seen brocks pipes. I want to keep the true duals also.

If you mean that you want to keep duals instead of 4-2-1, Brcks CT duals were the best performing system for the 14. The CT meg is a bit lighter and the performance dif is not much. Check Brocks site for dyno charts.

don't get slipons just to keep the duals. You won't be happy if you are after all the performance you can get your hands on. Get used to the race look. A race bike has a single pipe.

Akra is a great pipe for performance and weight too. I don't think it comes in a dual full system. Find out what is going to make the best power for you and if I were you, I would be doing every thing I possible could to shed as much weight as possible.
