Land speed Help
08/04/14 6:51 PM

I'm looking to go to Maine at the end of the month with my 2014 zx14r
It currently has a cblast modified computer, Brock CT single exhaust and BMC filter.
I have standard and a 40T rear sprocket.
What else can I do ?

2014 Loring AFB 14 runs over 200mph
with a best of 208.1 in 1.5 miles

Now the Turbo 14R - best of 223.1 in the mile and 224.6 in the 1.5

Someone asked the same question. The laundry list remains the same. Maybe someone will bring the link in or look on the 14R section. It's recent so it shouldn't be hard to find. Apply the same opinions.

I do believe if you want(may not need with the 2014 OR the C flash...an 18 tooth up front(probably have to remove the front sprocket chain guard)...and a 40 rear.THAT should get you nicely past the 200mph;)There's room in that sprocket area(countershaft sprocket that is)... with that guard removed.

Hey Cap! Sorry, just haven't had a chance to track this thread down! I think that the 40t would definitely give you the push you need. I am also counting on things like a solid tuck.
Elbows down and in as far as you can. Ass as far back as you can, wrists straight (right wrist sraight at WOT), chin bar touching tank cover indent (if you can bend thusly), looking through screen or just a hair over, relaxed, breath in, breath out, as you hold that 6th gear WOT, focus as FAR AHEAD AS YOU CAN AND HOLD HOLD HOLD HOLD.
It happens fast AND slow. Good luck and God speed.

Don't look down. Once you hit top gear, do not look down. May seem simple. But it's a rule worth remembering. Look ahead. React. Anticipate. Ride to do it again. Don't look down. The speedo will sort itself out. :) forget the speed number and roll that shit. The number will be. And it will be sweeter and higher with a relaxed, detrmined, analytical approach.
