Got a delivery today from the tire man. Purchased another stock Bridgestone s20. Front had alot life still. Let's see how long these last and how a 55 feels like.

Yea ive got 2,300 miles on my S20 to and its wearing much faster than I anticipated. I need to get 7-8,000 out of a tire with sacrificing grip. Is this possible?

Pilot Rd 4 is your answer over 6k on these. I have the S20s on my zx10
Last set was the pr3's. Got over 13k out of those. Tires only about 1/2 worn. Bike is toast but tires still good.

Corrected - original tires had 3,500k not 2,500k. Im thinking about pr4's as my next set. But still leaning to the pp3's. I don't commute on the bike, just play in the twisties. So sticky is a must.

I do both. No problems with grip. I ride up in your area at least 2 weekends a month. So it not just commuter miles. You'll get good grip with pp3's but probably about the same milage. Gotta remember its also a bigger and heaver bike. Not gonna get the milage you would get as say on a 600 or 1k. I get 6-8k with the s20s, pp3's , ect on my zx10. I know I would get half that on the zx14
