06-07 +4* Map
04/12/16 6:50 AM

I was wondering if anyone might still have a map floating around for my old 2006. What I need is a map for slip-ons with flies out and +4 across the board (Muzzy's wheel) operating between 900-2000 ft elevation.
I installed a Muzzy's tone wheel and the maps I have don't provide enough fuel for the extra timing. I have taken it back out until I can remedy the situation. My email is Cobrajetfairlane@aol.com
Any help appreciated
Thanks, Bill

The Muzzy wheel is old school. Uniform timing adjustment across all rpm. The best solution would be going with a Dyno Jet Ignition Module or an SB6. Best of both worlds would be flash and Autotune with PCV and Ignition Module. Ask Romans about his flash and I'm sure he can help you with the NOS timing as well.

Never having used the SB6 or the IM, I may not be the best person to advise based on personal experience but I have really done some homework on this. To me the DJ IM, PCV, POD-300 and AutoTune-200 seems to offer the best all around setup. JMHO. Brock and Romans love the SB6. Main advantage I see is that the SB6 has a simpler method of adjusting which I consider a - not a +. You can adjust an IM the same way but if you ever want to get more complex, you have that option.

Thanks Rook. I've already been talking to Romans about a flash and getting advice on some other things. He was the deciding factor in removing the flies LOL. I'm hoping to be able to send him my ecu soon but it's kind of bad timing for me to be trying to do it right now.
It runs pretty awesome with the flies out map I have without the timing advanced so I may have to just live with it like this for a little while.
The bike has an old Two Brothers Juice Box Pro on it so I can use Dynojet maps for fueling but I wont be expanding the tunability of it beyond that without investing some pretty serious cash in a bike that's getting pretty long in the tooth. The reflash would definitely make more sense here. If I'm understanding what I'm being told, I will still need to tune the fuel map after the reflash (?). I would also like to pick up a stock ecu for a spare before I send mine off.
I thought maybe and old gen 1 map from back when the timing wheel was common practice might work pretty well until I can get some other issues addressed. Not too many folks out there still having to do mods on gen 1s I wouldn't think Lol

Well, I don't think NEED is the right word but if yo want it perfect, you will have to fine tune a flash. The fueling is dead on for the bike the flash was made with but every engine has it's own individual needs. My guess is that if you are at the same elevation the flash was made at, you won't feel a big difference by fine tuning a flash. If you don't run on a dyno, you might not even notice the difference. BUT--that's the opinion of one guy who has not had a flash yet and I'm just about to get into tuning.

BTW, just got the Ignition Module today. Have not opened the packaging yet but it is much smaller and less than half the weight of the SB6 box.

26Bill enjoy the bike. Do not install that timing wheel. Yes it will help in the bottom but what it has to offer up top is danger. Just my 2 cents.
