Hi everyone.

New guy here, just bought a 2014 ZX14R Special Edition in white with gold flames. Has the factory fit ohlins and akropovic pipes fitted.

So far just loving it, but,at 6'2" I could maybe use a slightly lower foot peg. Not 100% sure yet as my other bike is a Victory Highball and maybe I have gotten too used to riding feet forwards.

Anyway, to that end, the contenders for lowered pegs seem to be either the Knight Designs set (@ USD$179 shipped to Australia) or the Murph Kit ones (@ USD$117 shipped to Australia).

One issue with the Murphs is that Murph himself was not 100% sure if they fit the ZX14R. Can anyone comment on this? And second, are the Knight units $62 better than the Murphs?

I bought the Knite Design. And had no problems installing them. They look good and feel good. I can not comment on the other brand.

Don't know about Murph's but Knight Design worked for me too. Also added the BlackPath risers and they help as well.

I also have knight design, I have found the shifter is not as easy to operate (downshifts for me anyway) but amazingly comfortable for only about 1" lower. I tried adjusting the shift lever position but it's either easier downshifts and hard to pull up or easier up... blame big feet!
So, another vote for Knights

the foot position i get with my 6'6" frame and a stock foot peg forces me to fish down for the gear selector, when upshifting... to me, switching to Knight foot pegs really helps for more comfortable upshifting

Buell Lightning pegs work great on many Bikes. Used to be real cheap when Buell was in business, $15 each.
I lowered my levelers.

so I splureged out and got the Knight pegs, and so far all good. I was quite easily able to adjust the shifter down to match, but am stuck on the brake pedal.

I have not seen any clear instructions on how to adjust the pedal, can anyone assist?

I figured it out.

Tricks are:

To actually lower the pedal, first you undo the 12mm nut on the brake master cylinder, then unwind it till it catches against the 10mm nut, and tighten it there. Then you can turn the locked together 10/12mm nut combo, lowering the pedal to suit.

Once pedal in correct position, release the 12mm nut from the 10mm nut, and wind it back down and lock it against the end fitting.

Next you need to adjust the brake switch. Best way is to remove the entire rearset (2 bolts), remove the spring which connects the brake switch to the pedal, and then you will be able to rotate by hand the large plastic nut on the brake switch, lowering it to suit. Be careful the switch body does not rotate, only the nut.

Once in desired position, but spring back in, and re-attach rearset.

All done.
