.I mean what if you ran it superrich with less timing.Would it live longer.

Rich yes, but super rich causes other problems. 11.5 to 11.8 under boost and you will be ok. Pull 5 deg timing and will live long life, but you lose hp. From what I've read, it would appear Bad tuning Eats most of them. Many die on the Dyno.

Like Romans said Craig, if you set a turbo up safe and treat it reasonably they'll last a very long time. A guy on Bikeland has I believe almost 40,000 miles on his stock motored turbo 14. He just set it up safe and leaves it alone. He's running a Muzzy kit. I have the same kit as Romans and no problems so far after 2 seasons.......but I've also ran mine easy because I haven't monitored my AFR's and am running a canned tune, no turbo tuners in my area. So I'm not exactly being smart about it myself. But I am correcting those "issues" now thanks to Romans map help and advice

And I have beat the living shit out of mine. I'm in boost no matter where I go. 9000 k, 4 rear tires and counting. 8lbs plus some creep. Love the pull. Hook in Deep.

And thats EXACTLY why I'm going to check my afr's and tweak my map to be sure I'm good to go. I've been wanting to ride it like you Rick since I installed it, but without knowing my afr's I just babied it along and wasted ALOT of fun. But at least its still in one piece and I'm in the process of getting it ready for some SERIOUS fun Just shows tho you can keep a turbo bike alive regardless of map if you baby it enough
