Bloody hell just recived a meessage this morning huddo(work mate) had a high/side on his 09 busa yesterday SHIT! What a run hey fellars he was also out with Dave the same mate that I was with when I stacked,just seen huddo's bussa more damage to his than my ZX !!!!!!! he has just a sore shoulder,he also told me Dave was with Lee when LEE Dislocated his left shoulder 5 mnths ago shoot ya wouldn't beleive this but it's all fairdinkum mates

G'day blue just seen physio man today 15minutes to were we live, also where my wife works lyelm,ckewen hospital,told him about the knee isnt, bending?? then he asked when did ya take your splint off I replied after 7 weeks after the surgery !! then said to my wife or shit my leg won,t bend !! she said been thats because all ya muscels have been dornment for 7weeks and ya bone went through 1 of you muscels (femur 3 off) then I Said to the pysioman today that september 1 the doc said yer femur bone is not knitting at all I reply with my wife no he stopped smoking when I was 32 years old ! she said im a nurse why would that stop the bone knitting, he said if you smoke it slows your cells healing and if ya smoke dope you kill all baby bone cells totally,so we will re xray you in 8 weeks !!! if it is not healing then we,ll take bone off your hip more surgery if it isn't healing. I went home and put my smoke away an felt angry they didn,t tell me this now three months ago, told the phyisio man this is private story he had the same astonished look as my wife/self and said I never new about this !! so I gave it away 31/august, and never touch it again so keep this private ( bean ) story !he has now takin degree measerments when straight it's at 10 degrees /now see how far you can bend it !! so he then checked the degrees it bends at 40% now. now I have some goals to work on the knee NOW SO I will do full work now to get me on with my life, my favourite thing is bike riding and working faster than any other boilermaker guys !!!!!! also buddy IM sorry for the pain you have bin through too !!!! and any other BOYS like us ha ha ha oh yeS im 48 tomorrow in 6 hrs +47minutes so i,ll have couple of JIM BEANS burbons tomorrow mate cheers

I learned in MSF Experienced Rider course (one before the one I took this year) how to full on stop, and it included putting all your weight on the rear brake pedal. And all four fingers on the front brake lever.

Doing that, I could bring the ZX14 down from 40 to dead stop without any swerve, no shake, just plain old squeal the tires and stop. Its a trip to do it right. Just have to sit perfectly upright and be balanced.

MSF swears that full-on panic stops go best with both front and rear brake at maximum.

Putting light pressure on the rear brake as you lean into the low side of the turn helps to set up the suspension so you can roll on the throttle better to exit the turn. Racers do it all the time. Takes practice.

rehab today, physio impreesed with muscle developement! still only 20% load bear down to 5 degrees (straight) down from 8 last month !bend increase 63 degrees from 55 last month !
