It was a bad day. It was a bad week. Bad things happened in my social, financial, and employment situations. Some were bad luck, and some due to my own bad decisions, Whatever. I was down. I was depressed.
I got home a few hours before dark and looked at the 14 in the garage. Away I went.

At least for the next few hours, things changed.
Life was good.
Life was great.
The world was grand.
Everything would be OK.
