Went to the gap for the first time on Mr.Smiley had a blast. This thing handles amazingly well for its size. I'm going to try and get the go-pro vid up too.

Well, you have to knee drag, your line sucks.

Darn, I should have thought about giving K a little ad by using that one letter. Looks cool. And which line were you talking about? Either one works. You practice tight and high lines is what I do. Now for a little tight lining. Say, if yellow is way out in the high side, is that not more feet to foot so baby can stretch her legs for all that power the little turds needing a tight line... What bike has that luxury to mirror your ass is give you a headstartsillyou, you!

I'm joshing him mostly, but its impossible to tell anyway. On the street (Dragon included) you can't run true lines anyway unless you are sure a) man is not watching, and b) no SUVs are coming the other direction.

He looks cool, though, and in control, and the bike looks happy too.

No, that takes a lot of time to keep the paint from hitting the road. Who wants to case the poor thing anyway. It's not like it's his first time. That bike is just too everything including the paint finish. When they oval the throttle bodies to 48 or 52 skidoo is do me one faster. That will narrow the bike some but for what? I like a fast boat. This thing handles well and the rest of the package is in the mirror.

For me; This is the kind of throttle to have for The Gap. Come out of that corner and this should be your dealer floor kind of bike in the N/Assoon as the bank opens, I'll cut a cash ears check is check myself to the tire store before it needs it's first service oil change and all that... If I get back any change at all it is well spent.

Drop the clutch I've got bite or I've got burn. That's how you tame that puppy. Wheelie all the way down there is hippity hop on you ballsack.

I'm not sure I'm understanding "true lines" there Privateer.Looks to me like Justin's got his shit together IMO.His line is his line...good and true enough for what he's doing.(?)

BTW Justin...that yellow looks VERY NICE...good job with that!Wish I had a couple(or one) rider up here like you.Show me the ropes so to speak.Great open and fast sweeps here bro...if ya ever get up this way....PM me....we'll go for some fun blasts.

Priv,

It goes like this and oh I made comment?; I'm going along taking line is all I am doing. I see car, I've already 'stoodown' on the other side knowing the odds. We are safe like look at us all with the same bike and we come home with that whatever line we took. Didn't it take that line to ride it home? We are done with a few minutes of WOTLifTOW and all that steering that goes with it. There is no certain line but the basics and off you go with your own line.

Take my line is line someone like you up, Privvy. You are bicycle meat. I'll make you backpedal you got in the way of my line is no you didn't. I made my own line is took the A to B this way then. Bike in way... Here is take that you pissing peddler is coast the way down and then give you an ear full who had the right of way... cough-cough... thee aaaaah, right way through there.

It's on!

Not sure your point, Hub. Thats not your video, and it doesn't show much of anything worthwhile.

Like I said, I was just kidding Justin, so get over it.

Thats WOT I'm saying. It shows me how that one right hander was 'setup' for the 'slingshot.' I don't know about this stuff, but I figure if you have a gap (no pun intended),if apex means anything; Would it not make sense to go deep in the back of the apex and have more feet to open here up? And then with the same breath, you are open to the 'tight liner' who may sneak under you... I'm just saying if there is a line, there are two ways to attack it, no?

It's 10 seconds of; Begins out of the tunnel @ 30 seconds into the vid. Stops at the 40 second and I see how hanging more left on the outside can give you more of a slingshot to the 40 second mark, a simple yes or no to your just kidding is to say was that an incorrect apex or was it to set someone up I don't know?

Like I said, I was just kidding Justin, so get over it.
Get over what? I'm bored while letting the glue dry. It's a hobby. Some time in the garage, some scratch my nutsack time on the net. Some time in the bathroom sometimes I have to and then out in the garage. Oh crap I can't do that so off to the net I go and ho-ho-ho, WOT do we have here?

Gamesmenshippity sit write here and scratch & sniff.

I think Justin's line is just right. You all notice...he's NOT crossing that double yellow with ANY part of his body, yet he's obviously carrying some speed.I think he's an excellent rider from what I see right there(in his pics). He also seems to be giving himself room on either side of his driving lane "just in case".Good eye Justin. That takes a keen sense of planting himself "ahead" of where he wants to be.The 14 is no 600...you gotta think ahead when yer carryin some decent speed.Tell ya the truth, from the vids of the Gap I've seen...I'm not so sure I could hang.Lots of concentration and skill going on right there.

privateer you can chase me through there with your "better lines" anytime you want I'll be there.

Thanks guys! I used to try and late apex every turn but got to close to a few cars that were trying to do the same ( swinging a little to wide on their entry) now I just try to keep a tight outside line. Still pretty sure thats the fastest pass on a 14 at the gap just saying.lol

My friend is e-mailing me the go-pro vid so hopefully I can get that up.

Would've liked to make it there this year but the wife had to buy an RV so there goes my wad! lol Looks like you were representing the 14 well.
As for the two cent comments, everyone needs to get over themselves around here. lol Like Dogo, he always seems to find an appropriate video/pic that says it all. You Jackass (jealous sarcasm).
