That's good. yea if you have the 4.0, those oil filter caps can be a PITA if that's not what you're already referring to. Toyota makes a "wrench" specifically for that because people round them off all the time trying to get them off and the caps aren't exactly cheap.

It's the splash guard that I hate. I don't have a vehicle hoist so I have to remove it entirely. I see it swings out of the way if you can get the car in the air.

147k on my 02 carolla. Front ends rattles like a battlewagon but the engine is as good as new.

Funny thing, I've owned 3 carollas since 1985 and every one had the same stuff wear out at about 100k miles and up. ..except Toyota did go to an extremely durable exhaust. I went through at least three on the 85. Still on the first with the 02.

All depends on when something expensive needs replacement but I might be in the market for a new Carolla soon, BUSAKILLER. I'll talk to you. Probably would be impractical to deal with Louisiana from Milwaukee but I might need some inside info.

Not bad little cars at all. I have a 04 camry with 203,000 on it and it still runs ok. Rook, give me a shout if you need any info. I sold cars for three years and then finally realized it wasn't for me and now I'm in parts so I can definately help out if ya'll need any parts. I'll hook ya'll up at wholesale prices and ship the parts to ya'll. Shipping isn't too much if you do ground. Anything I can do just let me know.

Probably should do both. The fiancé is hard on brakes. I'm surprised they lasted this long; that's why I want OEM.
