Installed Yoshi TRC carbon
08/31/09 3:12 PM

I installed the Yoshi TRC carbon fiber this morning .
I like the looks and the sound is a little deeper and a litte louder but still liveable

before and after clips.
Play both at same time

lets see how these links work ?

never mind cant embed them . but I was always looking for stock compared to after and this may help others

I'm working on getting embedded youtube links working. Maybe tomorrow. I'll experiment with the links in your message if you don't mind... -bg

No problem I just wanted to help others as I was looking for slipons and could never find two clips from the same bike in about the same location and taken from about the same postion. something like this shows what changes to make .
Although Im not real good at video on my Iphone I hope others who are better will do this . when looking I wanted deeper and maybe a little bit louder . Side by side clips make it easyier to decide .

Embedded would be great Gordon

You're welcome . If they had one for each set it would help shoppers like us .

Love the sound of the Yoshi's. Im looking for a good set of slip ons myself. I want the deep growl but not too loud.

Did you install slip on's or a full system? And, did you pick up any back firing with the new exhaust? Thanks for the youtube posts - that helps a lot !

Just the slipons and no more backfire so far but then I dont really open it up too often
Maybe a little bit if I coast for a long ways but I havnt noticed it yet.

You can really tell when you hit the 6k or 7k rpm range and are hauling as they kinda roar nice then

IMHO

No need for a power commander with just slip-ons unless you really need that last 2HP LOL
Its running plenty fine just stock and I didnt go full system as not really needed .
If I needed 5to 10 HP a change of down one or two would more than give me what I want and not void warrenty .
I dont have another 12K laying around in case this ones give up the ghost form a bad map or droping the screw in for taking out flys that are not needed to do on 08 and newer.
Thses bikes are so sweet out of the box that I cant really see screwing them up or taking a chance on it for little to no real gain on the road and if you read most dont get the bang for the buck as its baby steps from here unless you are making a track bike

Right no poping noise as in backfire = same thing .
None to hear at normal running .
My friend riding behind me said they were sweet when I opened it up he could tell
