After Market Brake Pads

These New pads were a major increase in stopping power. I can not believe the increase. Has anyone else here tried these or any other after market pads ? I find it very strange that such a increase could be achieved by just a pad change. I am almost worried that they work to good. I do not remember reading this any where before. This was a major improvement. My Question now is at whats cost ? Rotors? These pads also have a much different sound. Unless some one reports bad results these little beauties are staying on. Whatcha Think?

The stock pads are junk. Rotor eaters. I'm using natural asbestos pads on mine. No more rotor wear or "warping."

All this info kind of flies in the face of all that you read about the zx-14 having the worlds best super bike brakes. I for one am still in shock. I did not know what to expect after the change but am blown away my something as simple as a pad change could produce such great results. I still have nothing bad to report(330miles). The long term will tell the story. I am now wondering if the Galfers are even better again. Blue I will try those next time thanks for the tip. The worst part is my wife has thrown my NEW rear pads in the garbage.......I think she hates me..... I don't need rears just yet so maybe they will show up

Yup.... Hub get this. I've just been informed that if I post crap like that again I will have my Hairy Kiwi's cut off and fed to me......(OUCH) I think your in bit a trouble too LOL. I played that video oooh let me see about 5 times. Once for the wife and 4 times for the kids while she was within ear shot. What the hell, Going to play it one more time while she digs through the garbage to prove me wrong . Well I got to find my cup now. Protection against a threat like that one is key to saving my WEE ones.

How many miles did you have on the bike before you changed the brakes?

Notfirstbutnext, only about 14,000 kilometers. I only changed because pad damage from a bent rotor. A car backed into my bike and bent one of my front rotors. The prick took off and left me with NO brakes. ASS.

Mass I was on Vesrah website. They do not talk much about their pads or brag up their product(maybe they don't have to). Are you running these pads on your bike?

Vesrah pads are the cat's ass and the must-have performance
upgrade for any track day duty.

I first had Vesrah pads in my 05 zx10 (with cbr brake calipers- anything was an upgrade to the zx oem).
Now I have them in the gsxr750 and they are just awesome.

Hey Redtrace..... I would post a link, but the company is gone...I've been looking 2 . I would like to have matching front and rears. As you must have read above, I need the matching rears as mine FLEW away. The Garage fairies ran off with my NEW pads and they have never returned. I bought these off Flea Bay, but I can not find the same Vendor. Shame.
