Would it be worth it?

I'm looking into finding hp wherever I can. One way is thru ceramic wheel bearings. I also see ceramic bearing kits for the transmission. Would it really be worth the $. Not only the price of the kit, but the labor costs too. I'm definitely doing the wheel bearings, but transmission bearings too?

Ceramic trany bearings? That one is new to me. Anything beyond the clutch I would think requires the motor pulled and split. Personally bro if I were to go through that much work I wouldn't stop with just bearings. I'd send the whole trany off to fat camp and after it has shed off its obese wieght I'd ship it off to finishing school. Then maybe some additional head work with porting and some new light weight pistons and rods.

If you aint high horse power racing you probably wont feel the difference in the tranny bearings, wheels definitely would do thoo.

Smatlock, your looking for power, how much are ceramic wheel bearings? $400? I think you would be happier with a ECU flash for the same price or less. You can feel the difference with that? I think ceramic bearings are nice but unless your doing LSR or drag racing they are not necessary for the street. Just my 2 cents!

ZX rider has said it right there. Best place to feel those bearings is in the garage when moving the bike. Otherwise smat your money is better invested in the flash!

Agree, flash only 250 and is huge diff. When all your other mods are done ceramic bearings end of list.
