Mine is off, too. Around town it shows an average 41 mpg.
I took a trip last summer and constant 80 mph dropped the average below 40 mpg.
But we didn't buy this Bike for good mpg's.
We got it for SPEED.

My average is 36.4.Mostly highway though.

i didn't get it at first
it wasn't a problem because i do like Fleetwood Mac

2004 zx12 1290cc 191std HP 495 lbs
2014 zx14r 195sae HP 520 lbs
2014 Loring AFB 14 runs over 200mph
with a best of 208.1 in 1.5 miles
and 204.5 in the mile.
Now the Turbo 14R - best of 223.1 in the mile and 224.6 in the 1.5

Not complaining but if you check your mileage the old fashion way the computer is a compulsive liar. Especially the range estimater.

As everyone else says, I've never enjoyed spending so much money on gas.

I've had several bikes in the past and the odometers and speedometers have always told sweet little lies.
