I have only done 170 mph indicated on both bikes. It's been years and I haven't gone any faster. This symmer will have to be the time I hit top speed but the 14 will probably only do 175 with 17/45 gearing I have. I don't think it was the bike that was scaring me, it's just the thought of being seen by the law. That's kind of dumb, really. I do 130 pretty often and that would look almost as bad to most people.

Good point Rook. I also have only done 300km/h "indicated" which I know is not totally accurate. But with that needle hard over its good enough for me.
Also being seen by the law had nothing to do with anything for me.
I was just damn scared of the sheer speed...

I've hit my 11,000 rev limiter with a 17,39 sprocket combo. Gearingcommander.com shows that to be 208ish. I've been meaning to do a gps verified pass but meh. Doesn't really matter.

I've hit 10,500 rpm in 6th with 17/42 gearing. No idea of what speed I was traveling.

300km/h is like standing still compared to 208mph.

I had the Pirelli app on my iphone when I had my blue 2012 ZX14. It uses the phone's gps to data log your ride. You get a bunch of data, including top speed. It said I hit 191.2 on my way home from work one day. That bike had a stock ECU and slip-on exhaust.

Thats 193 Nasty and the factory ECU is limited to 186

No top speed limiter and I've buried the speedo numerous times.

I may throw my 18/39 sprocket combo on and make a top speed run with a gps just for giggles one day.

Gearing commander shows that to be well in excess of 220 IF the motor will push it that far.
