Same old hat...Tires

I have destroyed my M5 in 1300 miles. Sooooooo..... Looking for the bang for my buck. Real world riding and canyon carving. Im a zero chicken strip rider. Something needs to be better than that M5. 1300 miles....... I dont want rocks on her either.

Some junk & stuff on my bike and a hole in my head for riding it!

For good handling and good mileage: Michellin Pilot Roads (experienced with these)

For canyon carving: Michellin Power Pures (experienced with these)/ mileage seems good so far as well!

For true zero chick strip riders: get the 55 profile no matter the tire model or brand.

Dunlop Q3's or is it Q4's now? get very good reviews for handling with their carbon fiber reinforced side walls/ mileage may be a different story? I have no personal experience with these,

Cheers

I'm a aggressive edge of the tire kinda guy myself. I run pilot power 3's and got almost 3000 miles out of my last set. Maybe could've got more out of it, but not worth trying.

Was it actual cornering grip that you didn't like about the oem tire? Feel? Response? Turn in? Cupping front tire?

If not, leave the KTRC on 1. There you go, tires saved. Try another M5.

If so, Fit the grippiest tire you want, let the electronics eek out the tire life.

OR as paulAB stated. try the pilot road 3, or Angel GT. (I have these now).
The Angel GT gives me all the grip I could want. dry, wet or cold.

I don't ride quite as hard as you do. I only get to within half inch of the sirewall. Getting too old to push my limits on the street. Last time I had a bike, I watched 3 friends wreck in right front of me in the twisties. So, I don't rail that hard anymore.

PS, If I come across as a butt head, I'm sleepy and stressed out with work. take it with a grain of salt.
