So I have been trying to sell my daytona 675 in order to fund a zx14r. I have been talking with a guy that had cash and wanted it bad. We were $500 apart on price but I was thinking well you only live once so we made a deal. He hadnt seen the bike other than in pictures until tonight. He shows up at my door and looks at the bike for almost a minute before he says "Well, not sure how to say this, but my wife has decided I cant buy your bike. I really want it but....."
He didnt want to tell me over the phone, so he drove all the way to the house just to tell me in person. I think he was more upset about it than I was. Then he gave me $100 for my trouble and drove away.
On one hand I am sad I'm not going to the Kawasaki dealer next week to take home that amazing white monster sitting on the show room floor waiting for me to buy it, but on the other hand the daytona is so freaking sweet, people will pay $100 a minute just to come look at it!
