Tank Bags
04/03/12 8:14 AM

What are you guys using? I drive my 14 daily so I need some extra space. I an expandable BiLT magnetic tank bag now, but lately I have been considering something a little more permanent. the Cortech Dryver Bags have been catching my eye lately. I also have been looking at a rapid transit, they seem to follow the lines of the bike very well.

So what are you guys using? And any pictures?

I use RKA soft luggage for tank bag, seat bag. Best in the business. I have pictures of my 2008 ZX14 (no longer mine) elsewhere on this forum with the tank bag mounted.

I am going to use it on my Concours 14 now.

I have an EXL magnetic (don't know the model, bought it used) with a Bags Connection removable map pocket. Fits the lines of the bike pretty well and has some naff blue stripes to go along with the CPB paint.

I have had an Eclipse Part #200 expandable bag for 19 years and it looks like hell. I should replace it. If I sent it back to them they would keep it so they could use it as an example. I think it expands to a 30 liter limit and the damn thing will hold 6 assorted 1.75 liter booze bottles or an entire case of .750 liter wine bottles. I have used it on 6 different bikes. It comes with a map case and a rain cover. The zippers must be made of un-obtainium because after thousands of use cycles I have had no zipper problems. My Lockhart tank bra is now serving duty on ZX-14 number two. When I go on a trip I use an old set of Chase Harper soft Stelth Sport Bike saddle bags and an old military AWOL bag tied to the passenger seat.
