Any hose around a fitting is to push on the end of it to break the seal. A second approach is to find a small enough stabber, push it in between the hose and fitting, then try to spin the tool around the hose to break the seal. Just let the sensor float on the hose and take them off from the valve cover side. This way you removed the whole unit as one by removing the one hose and pulling the unit as you push the other hose off the valve cover fitting.
Spin the spark sticks so you break that seal and you now twist back and forth as you raise the stick up by the head.

Ah, seen your moment. The way to do those are the same setup as the PAIR sensor off the valve cover. Mark your hoses with nail polish and match it to the fitting it goes back on. This way you both rely on the bends of the hoses and the marks finalize you are back together properly. Then remove that housing and remember how it's piggybacked with two brackets on each other if I recall?
