hey guys, i need 2 know the specs. on the stock chain zx14 runs.all i know is it's a 530 drive,i thi nk.is it a xring or an oring?is it a zvm or zr series?whose it made by?how bout it hub and kruz,between u 2,one of you has that golden b.b..trying to put back together a wrecked bike that was purchased from a police auction.while in storage,someone stole the chain,exhaust,seat and cowl.for the price,what a steal.they thought it was a pile of junk.didn't know what they had.got it home, put my old exhaust and a hot battery,she fired right up.debating which chain to go with(oem or after market).ok guys, what u got on this?

From memory the stock chain is a DID 50ZVZ. I've got one virtually new (1800 mi.) just need a masterlink and your set. $50.00 TYD.(BTW) These things are heavy so, it's expensive to ship!

DAIDO DID 50ZVM4 116 links. Buy the OEM continuous link from the dealer. If you buy a chain style that you need a crush type link to install, you need the special tool to spread the the pin to the right diameter.

So you either buy a cheap chain and a link spreader or you pull the swing arm to install the proper chain. Between both tool and chain, it may cost more than just hassling with a little more time with the swing arm and the OEM.
