Has anyone heard of or seen a race generator setup on a zx14? It sounds like it would help with weight loss and allow the motor to rev more easily.. Ideally it would be fun to try their generator and water pump together.

So I need the dimensions for the stator output shaft in order to move forward on this project. Can anyone measure the diameter of the output shaft at the top, and bottom, and measure the length of the output shaft?

Sounds expensive. I guess you need it if you intend to ride on the street but track only bikes sometimes delete the whole charging system. I'd love to do that but it's one of those things that when you need it, you need it ---like a side stand.

Tuner recommended running a slightly more powerful battery and removing the charging system, but I'd prefer a setup that will work all the time.

So, the new charging system is almost ready.. However BDK wants to do a test fit/test run before shipping it off and listing it on their site. Would anyone in the UK be interested in trying the BDK charging system?

Found a way to shave some weight off the crank without paying BDK which has been working on the project for more than a year...
