Welcome to the forum.
I enjoyed reading through your web site and like some of the small mods you have detailed to make the bike comfortable for you. You are very good at electrical wiring..
I have visited Nagano and stayed at Yamanouchi near Yudanaka and enjoyed that part of Japan very very much.
When Naoto San bought his bike it was around $17500 US at todays exchange rates..
or 1.8 Million yen..

It was summer time but I did go and boy it would have been super hot for the poor little guys...
But they seemed happy fishing the food out of the hot water.
I also enjoyed an Onsen that my hotel manager dropped me off at over looking the whole prefecture.
It was a lovely place.
You live in a little piece of paradise..
And ride an awesome bike.
In Australia they sell for about the same after conversion.
$19990 AUS $17900 US or 1827000 Yen

Rook, I don't know how it is now, perhaps Naoto can chime in, but if you go to Japan, try to get to one of the motorcycle auctions. When I was there they would auction off 2500 bikes a DAY in just 1 location. Every type you can think of. I bought my race bike, a 1991 TZR250 for $400 US there and my friend got a pristine 92 TZ250 with full spares kit for $1500. And every Friday they had the "Crashed bike auction' where they would sell off parts, damaged bikes and bikes without paperwork. I was like a kid in a candy shop. I think things have changed quite a bit since then. I would be interested in hearing how things are there now.

Thanks all.
Mr.Rook
Japan is nice place,I think. Please come on!
Because Japan is very peaceful place. But only one problem is low limit speed.
In highway, max speed limit is only 100km/hour.
How about your country?
Actually I am riding in highway at about 150 to 200km/hour,hahaha.
Mr.Maddevill

I bought my Yamaha R1-Z(same engine as TZR250)in Internet auction.
Yesterday,Japan had many snow.
I can't ride motorcycle.

we have 70-75 mph (112-120 kph)in some places in the US. I don't think they allow anything higher anywhere here. Almost everywhere in the US has a speed limit of 65mph, same a you in Japan. Of course we don't ever go faster than the speed limit here. NEVER!
I bet you they have those automatic spy cameras that take pictures of you speeding and then send you a ticket in the mail. Not common here yet. but we have some at intersections for people who do not stop for the red light.
