I love this bike......anytime some gal walks up to you with her 6 year old in a parking lot and she says "my son wanted to see your bike." Well it is then that you know you really got something nice.

Ugh. Divorce. I got two of those under my belt, not a big fan but it does get better!

LOL ...the only surefire way to make sure it stays better is don't get married again! If I EVER do that again, there will be a prenup and it WILL be updated every 7 years or just forget it. The wims should understand it's for their protection too. Why else does one get married after 40 except for security? The love and romance years are long gone here. I don't expect that anymore. It's time to get practical about marriage or don't bother. I think the middle aged girls know this too. I don't see a lot of 40+ gals licking their chops over me either.

My friend's mom died 15-20 years ago, and my mom ran into his dad somewhere and asked if he'd found anybody yet. So he was prob early 60s at the time, and he said he'd met lots of women but they're all in debt and wanna be "taken care of" ...

This guy is fairly well off, BTW, so they were fishin' the right hole, just that this fish wasn't biting ... yet anyway.

I thought the same after my 2 divorces, but now I'm married to the best person I've ever known (she's my profile pic).

Not to get all sappy, but I thank God for her every day. After a rough deployment and my 2nd divorce I really didn't care if I lived or died for awhile there. Then I found the most caring, patient and hard working woman I've ever known. Changed my whole life, I even ride less reckless now because I have something to finish the trip for!

Keep the hope, there are good woman out there.

For you young guys, yeah. It can happen a few times if the timing is right.

I do not find women taking interest in me for my money (which kinda makes sense cause I don't have much) but now that I have a decent job, I have gotten three nibbles in the past few months. All 50 years or older, two with health and financial issues, and one just with financial issues. None desirable enough that I could sleep with them. That's ok with me I guess, do they get that? I just could not do it. Nice enough to hang out if it's someone I enjoy being with but a fisical relationship just aint happenin.

Not that I'm looking, but at age 50 personally I find about 25 and under often times way too damn immature.

I get no signals from women 30~40. I'm in decent shape but I don't look young. I think people are looking for partners who are at their stage of life so they can do the things they should be doing at that stage and it it will all sync up for the future. That's ok because the majority of 30~40 year old women I do not find attractive either. 30 is about the shelf life on beauty. Like I said, that's ok with me as long as they wouldn't be disappointed in being friends without benefits.

I could spend as much money dating for ten years as that new S1000rr would cost. ...except in ten years I would still have something to show for it. You just gotta think on that.

BUTT ... if you're chasing the "latest" "greatest" beemer crotch rocket now, in 10 years it'll be obsolete, unpopular and practically worthless! WORTHLESS I tell ya! Haha! Just kidding, but you get the idea.

I met my current wife on the interwebs. She found me because I rode and she liked going on rides but all her local friends didn't have time. So we met , one thing led to another, she moved in and now we've been together for over 18 years. She is simply great. Smart, aggressive, takes care of business. Best of all, she loves racing and going fast.
I think I'll keep her.
