BMACKNNYC14r Headers
05/27/14 6:50 PM

BMack,
I bought Akra headers to feed yooshimura R77 slips. The Akra set up did zero for the bike. Other than weight savings I got no enhanced sound and zero performance increase. I'd recommend splurging for a full system instead. That said my brother Cblast just installed the akra header to feed muzzy slips and he reported a slight performance enhancement. C can chime in, for me, not worth the additional cost and install.
Mad love
Wman

"Six of one, half a dozen of the other"

I thought ZX14s only had 4 cylinders?

Before your criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you do criticize them, you're a mile away and have their shoes.

thanks wolf, I appreciate it! seeing the weight savings between the stock header and akra dual header are less than a pound, not too much there I guess

What system are you running now?

The M10 is one of the baddest sounding exhausts! I love it! Sounds like a straight up kngarly race bike on steroids.
