Bump. Don't know if anybody saw this. I started it out in the 1/4 Mile forum, but I guess few people go there, so I moved it here. -bg

If hot air could be harnessed, I'd give the win to 1Bad. In the real world though, I'd bet on Slow Ninja, his times are more believable.

My good friend told me there are two types of people in racing. Those who follow the rules, and those who win. They are never one and the same.
I'm still game. Its hard to arrange a race when we live so damn far apart. I'm too busy setting the bike up for real street as it is.
But, i'll vote :)

Holy SHIT. You DAMN RIGHT i'm in. Just won Pro/et at the race in tulsa last weekend and was in the semi's in street et when it started raining. 3 races i think i might be better off just running 1 class though lol. Double duty is tough on them ol' clutches.
Oh shit. I just noticed it's 1/8 mile. Holy hell.. I dunno bout that lol. Them BAR bikes have it made the front half

screw that, i want that $5000 per race! lol!
I just rounded up a couple of buddies to share a trailer with for the ride out there (1000 miles each way for me). I'm legal for street et, so i might bring a few cases of oil and run both classes.

Its getting hot out, so you gotta keep that in mind. My best pass in tulsa last weekend was a 9.10 at 150. 125* track temps and not-so-good prep. Thats with 10 extra HP, too. I slowed down .08 and 5 mph just from climate changes lol.
Got my nitrous fixed too. Brand new solenoid stuck open. Appearantly its pretty common with MPS solenoids. I put an NX solenoid in there and its ready to roll. Racing in Real Street this month, 8.50 is supposed to be enough to win it, so we'll see.

Theres a guy here on a turbo'd busa thats having your same problems. 280lbs, 300 hp on 10psi and 260ish on 7psi. Runs better on the 7 psi map then he does on 10.
But i still beat him
I won't be anywhere near your problems lol. I'll have 240 horse at the most. take into consideration the progressive controller, i shouldn't have any problems running consistant 8.70s. I think. lol
