Well...I suppose it could have been like you said.I don't know anything about truck scales. On my 07...when I installed TiForces, removed rear fender, carbon heel guards(which is nuthin)....the weight was right at 540(on the same scale...a year earlier).Stock is something like....565?And that was with a half tank of fuel.So I don't really know if that 14R weight was accurate...I assumed it was.Get my CS ONES on there...I'll go somewhere else to weigh her this next time.

Ya...interesting.the claimed differences I mean.I had my stock battery on my 07..so I'm guessing that was part of the overall higher weight(naturally)...most likely...10 lbs. Also had CF lowers and a CF hugger. You've done good getting yours down there.Excellent.I have NO idea what a 500 lb missile feels like.Probably very quick and sharp handling.

Looks like you've got BST's on there.VERY NICE.You gonna see if they'll fit on yer new rocketship?

Still hope to see silver in the 2013 options... and ABS... but if not, leftover black or blue please.

Man I was just getting ready to buy a set Marchesini's... Dogo why you had to do that?
BTW get the blue. The black looks nice with some light but the Blue is awesome on the 14R.
Is Brocks coming with a different design for the zx-14R.. CT-Duals 2.0?

This might be worth looking into, DK:

Calling all ZX14s, Who needs some new wheels?

OZ Forged Alumunim Piega 5 Spoke DOT approved Wheelset: ZX14

Front Weight: 7.8lbs
Rear Weight: 12.7 lbs with cush drive

OZ Forged Magesnium Cattiva 6 Spoke DOT approved Wheelsset: ZX14

Front Weight: 6.65lbs
Rear Weight: 10.1 lbs with cush drive

OZ wheels are extremly light, and even lighter than BST wheels in many situations like the ZX14 rear wheel weight by over 1.5 lbs!!!

BST Front weight: 6.1 lbs
BST Rear Weight: 11.8 lbs with cush drive

Is Brocks coming with a different design for the zx-14R.. CT-Duals 2.0?

Pretty sure the CT series is stayin' the same... but the AH got a redesign:

Lighter than BST? DOT approved? Nice
If the ohlins suspensions upgrade delivers, I'm digging a hole into the track bike budget and getting some wheels for the 14. After that a shorai, some super bike rotors and a speedohealer and I'm done, moving on to the track bike. Thanks for the assist Dogo and as always put it on my tab!

HERE'S a link to the wheels, BW... Not sure what price they are offering them at to Kawiforum members, though... I did notice, while on the site, they offer Millitary discounts as well.
