"What Happened to the Tattered American Flag "...you know Snuffy...I wanted to put that one on there first.I have a brand new unused set.UNFORTUNATELY...they are a tad bit too long for that particular area of coverage.I wanted to get the whole flag on there.It would take some trimming down at either the front or the back of the decal to get it to fit in there and look right.I didn't want to modify the decal....they're very cool.They WILL however fit perfectly symmetrical on the two angled 'flat areas' of the rear cowl.I was considering putting them there...haven't made up my mind yet...I LOVE the lines and color of our new bikes...way cool...and I think the factory flames are just right.Just enough to give a bit of smoothness to the lines of the bike.The flags might overpower the clean look.IDK.

I got all my kanji decals from Immortal Graphics, they are probably much the same.

I know mine were on my carbon fiber for like 2 riding seasons at least, some for 3, and they still look brand new.

Looking good Green. Don't think the flag will match.

I'm not a fan of that mod.

I think it's cool but perhaps bigger. I'd go for under the front turn sig. Also, an outline on the characters (a bit darker than the green of your bike or yellow maybe?) would be nice and a simple shape behind....a large red circle would sure look the part and be very exciting with the green color. You'd have a logo then. IDK if the red circle would be offensive or not. kamakaze comes to mind or Zero. Sure would be hot on your machine though.

do a search if the circle interests you. The Zero was a white outlined red circle. Kamakaze was the rising sun red dot w rays. Personally, I'd do a solid red circle.

If you want understated, I'd go with exactly what you have, prolly in the same spot but smaller. maybe about 70-75%. The real problem is that it is cramped.

"At least I'm telling you the truth".Nothing wrong with being honest with your likes and dislikes.I basically wanted to hear what people thought....I already knew I was gonna keep em on there.I think the lettering is just right and the color is perfect for the Gold Blazoned Green paint.They don't show much until you get at the right angle.That's the look I was wanting to get.Something subdued...yet unique.Unless your at the right angle to notice em...they're pretty much stealth....They NEVER show up dark like those pics I took in my garage with the flash on.

It's what you like that counts.
