So I tackled my DDM Tuning HID low beam install today. As I'am admiring my 35w 5000K's I notice this lying by my front wheel. It's about 2" in diameter and magnetic. I searched and searched but can't find where it came from, HELP! Any ideas?

WTF?...hell,that's the inner rotating joint amplifier...goes inside the ratchet cusp of the meter bracket stabilization unit....under the lower flange.Down by the calibrated wratchet connector.I wouldn't ride your bike until you get that re-installed.

Grn14 I've already ruled that out, Lol. Cornelius, I wish it was. I will be doing high beams today maybe I'll notice something missing in there.

That's what it looks like to me. Magnet looking. Can you stick it on something? Maybe why the glue in that hole's edge?

Its probably the parts tray magnet from the dealer when they assembled the bike. Or from a magnetic light or mirror.

PANIC OVER! First of all thanks for all the responses. fatsix response made me check the damn overhead pull down light and guess what wasn't there, the magnet! That's why I joined this forum, sometimes it takes more than one mind to figure out the obvious.

Amazing how similar that looks to what I said....hmmm....

Next question is.....did it hit your precious when it dropped?Something that 'big' could ding a fairing easily...sorry...I had to...
