ok guys here's the deal.... need to rope me a new bike soon...took a vist to another dealer to check out the bike in person...have 3 or 4 dealers in mind to vist for color available and price on bike and trade etc.

price was the same as the 1st dealer about 13,500 but while i was there he had a left over 2011 in the green and black which looks sweet.... for 10,500 so 3000 less is the new one that much better then the 2011 or are they pretty close.... i don't want to do any mods i like keeping my bikes stock.... so i would not remove flies or any other mods.. just lube chain.. gas.. change oil and go. . as you guys know right now i ride the fz600r yamaha .... just was wordering if the new model is worth the extra 3 grand since i have never owned a zx14 i just thought you guys might be able to help with my final choice....

temp in ny was in the mid 40 so great day to check out the bike again.

other bikes i have owned... 99 busa...98 r1..2001 gsxr 1000 so i have owned some bigger bikes.... i know before i told you guys i liked the blue one the best but the left over was green and black so looked real nice since i like the 2 tone effect.... thanks in advance....... go knicks... it's Lin San around here !!

if it was me and not going to do any mods id get the 2012 but thats just me lol it would take that extra 3000+ to get the HP the 2012 has out of the crate. but i don't think you'll go wrong with either one

leo... those prices are before tax but they did include the shipping and freight.. 13,400 or 13,600 for the green model.

next week i am going to the dealer where i bought the yamaha... he sells kawaski also so i would like to buy there if their price is the same or close... today i sat on the zx14 2011 for the second time and the ergos felt better i do not think i will need the risers.. did not feel so leaned over this time... i was trying to feel things out alittle before i hit up the dealer where the yamaha was purchased.

2 hours ago time warner cable just reached a deal with m s g network and will show the knicks game tonight... after having a black out since the 1st of the year..to good to be true !!

$10,500 sounds a bit too much...$10,500-750 sounds more like an OTD price
don't know if I'll get crucified by moderators for writing this but,,
if you're not to far from queens, I've seen that Gr/Blk advertised on cycle trader for $9,499 @ a queens location
I've dealt with them before bought my 10 Z1000 from them that I saw on cycle trader
they had it advertised the lowest so I called them out on it, at first they were reluctant to honor the advertised price, tried to give me some lame excuse that the pricing was a special and only lasted a week
but proved them wrong and they had to sell it to me at the advertised price...manager was not happy becuause
this is when the Z started to really sell... screw you!!! man up or update your ads
so, before I ramble on, the ad for the green black 2011 is current (2-16-12), and might be worth the trip
gotta stand your ground and haggle like a bitch, you will meet a happy medium, and end up with a super sweet ride
+ from what I saw on CT they have 3 (different colors) I believe the ball is in your court.....GO GET EM

Next week like wed or thur the temp in ny is going to be close to 50 degrees which is crazy but great for me since i love motorbikes... so i will be going to the dealer where i bought the yamaha and just pull the trigger on the blue 14r which i like alot... and this way i get the updated goods..

I had the first years 99 busa 98 r1 and the gsxr 1000 2001 why stop now you only live once and you can't take it wth you that's for sure.

I DID pull the trigger on a black one. All I can say is "WOW". I knocked out 80 quick miles and I LOVE THIS BIKE. It's a totally different whip. Kaw kicked azz. My 2007 was awesome. The 2012 is on another level. Worth every penny even though I got it for $13K from my local dealer. I also traded the 2007 for $5.5K. I have three days off with near 50 degree weather. The Black Mamba will be broken in by Tuesday for sure. Man, I'm smiling like I won the lottery. LMAO!!! I am a kid again.

best part if you buy the tire online and save about 70%. lol....he could care less real helpful kind of guy...i think 10 extra for the spin....not like some stellerships if you bring the tire they want 60 to 70 if you didn't buy the tire fron them.... real jerks.

Stock? 2012. 2 fans, more power, better handling etc etc. If you go with a previous gen get a better deal or a used one

yes i agree the 12 model seems like the way to go...the reviews are off the charts on this bike... every one i have read just seems to praise the bike very highly..

one made a statement abut the older model saying....the sensation from the old model of piloting a personal watercrat is gone...what do they mean by that statement ?

one said the busa handled better... the other 12 or so said the 14 was a better handling bike.... the one that said the busa was better he was standing next to a newer busa and it looked like maybe that bike was his own machine.

Have just picked up a new (green) 14R and am thrilled. I owned a 2009 zx14 which I thought was a great bike, but the new one is noticeably better across the board.

For my money it's the complete package. Unlike other bikes that I've owned that have had some great features and a few foibles I've been willing to forgive, the new 14 does everything it's supposed to, exceedingly well.

I say go the new 14r!

BTW, I think it was the Cycle World review that had the guy standing next to the 'Busa saying he thought the Busa was a better bike. Hard to accept as an unbiased opinion..

I did the full prep for the best deal on the trade....still have little more to do.

In new york we are setting a record for the lowest snow fall in the month of feb going back 100 years... so far 0.6 the record was 1.4 in 1912.

Been watching a little basketball as you could guess...Been LAN-SAIN!!

Tonight we ae going to get some snow maybe 1 to 2 inches.. I have a couple dealers lined up already one has a black one has a blue and green and another has 4 or 5 coming two blue ones which is good for me.

Have to see how much salt and dirt goes down ...things may get delayed a week or 2... the bikes are not selling as crazy as some places i guess being in the northeast and all.

I guess hub may have his before me after all.
