Place to hold sheild
09/03/12 9:47 PM

I usually wear a tinted sheild with my Shoei. I found a decent place to store the clear sheild just in case it gets dark and I am far from home. I know I could wear shades with the clear sheild but the tinted sheild looks better. Check it out! Did 370 mile ride and it never moved and totaly forgot it even there.

Pretty innovative! Fortunately I don't have to change shields since I got the Bell RS-1 with the auto tinting visor...expensive but worth it out here in the desert. I know a lot of rider backpacks hold shields too...my Icon has a velor shield pouch.

Cool BlackZX14! Way to think outside the box and see an innovative solution. The one thing that I wish the designers at Kawasaki would have considered is storage on the ZX-14 (more under the seat, and up front under the inner fairing top side panels).

i used to do that on a previous bike, it fittet behind screen, but used to get caught while using full lock in a parking lot or whereever, i always travel with a clear and dark, i must look for a place on the 14r

That's cool. I'll have it in mind for whenever I leave Alaska, because here in the summer is day light all the time so you really don't need a clear shield Dark shield all fuking day!!!
