My warrantee is up in a couple of weeks,what are the thoughts on an extended warrantee,would a flashed ECU void it.How much are you paying for the GTPP

2012 14R,full hindle Evolution ,vortex rear sets,BST's with ceramic bearings,HID's,hyper pro damper and custom map 205.3 hp/120.2 torque

In the UK we get an OE 2 year warranty. Do you not get that?

We only get 12 months in the US.

A flashed ECU *may* void it to the extent that the ECU modifies the bike. So if your engine blows, it's up to the dealer. Before anyone stats posting about Magnuson–Moss Act - that only deals with replacment parts that are not OEM produced but are OEM performance equivalents. IE they cannot void you for not using a non Kawasaki oil filter that meets the required specifications. Once you go outside specifications - you're on your own. Technically, they can void the warranty on the entire engine for as little as changing the exhaust.
